What heppened to real men? Has there been some change in the deffinition, or expectations of what a real man is or should be? Seriously. I have been talking to this guy for over 2 months now. I think at best the amount of times we have had intercourse average out to about 3 or 4 times a week. AND that’s not to say 3 or 4 times means 3 or 4 days that’s just “times” in over two months. Are you kidding, Erica? No im serious.

So at the beginning, I think we had a cool connection. But it may have been the whiskey, that filled a gap between us like a smooth flowing river. Exciting and beautiful were those words and moments under the influence.  Oh, and we worked together. So we saw eachother, probably too much. So, then I got fired. Now that was supposed to be awesome, you know still see eachother just not so damn much. But then, we hardly saw eachother AND we were rarely  ”getting down”.

Now this isn’t hard to comprehend. It should’t be. If I am used to sleeping with you (in the most adult way you can translate that, you should) for example: 4 times a week. What the hell makes you think going down to one time a week would suffice for my appetite? I get it, we both have kids, live in different cities and have other things going on in our lives. But really, it wasn’t any different when were were getting busy 4 times a week. Does a man think he wont be left alone, for the inability to keep up with a woman’s sex drive? That was a rhetorical question of course.

Here is the real question: is sex that important in a relationship? And by relationship I mean basically we just do “it”. Well here is the answer: YES. Not just that I am wildly passionate. But to be frank (or Erica),  all humans need that. We need physical connection just as much as we need mental and emotional connection. This is why dating is important. This is the time that you can gauge each others abilities and desires. If I am a VERY sexual person and that is important to me. I should be involving myself with a person that can hang. You understand.

What changed? You know that I am leaving things out. Like, how I have played games with his head, slept with his friend. BTW, that was out of spite, I was drunk out of my mind, it didn’t mean anything and I told him the next day. Oh and he isn’t my boyfriend. We are just … well I don’t know. Anyhow, I have gotten drunk and talked a bunch of crap. Said mean things. I know maybe that is why the sex became less. But look, if i have done things you can’t forgive, things that have made you not like me. Then say that, act like that. Don’t stick around to appease me. To just give it to me once a week. Geese homie, if that’s the case we can both get a move on.

See, I would be cool with the booty call deal. However, if it’s going to be that, it needs to be often. Or, what would a once a week booty call do for either one of us? Uh, not going to work. If you want to work at a relationship or whatever, then once a week is an epic fail. I want to like this guy, he makes a damn good meal out of me. I like that. He sent me some texts to the extent of him being done, with worrying and wondering about me. That he doesn’t know why I want to hate him. WELL, maybe because I am more sexually frustrated with you than I was when I was completely alone. Am I trying to force a connection here, because I want frequent sex? Probably.

What would you do? Have you ever been in my shoes? I think it’s kind of like leaving one job, but making sure you have another one lined up first. But with a pay cut that makes holding onto the job more expensive than just quitting it.

Here is the conclusion. We meet people and sleep with people to learn lessons. Your sexual connections are meant to be as much of a teaching as your business and career endeavors. If you find yourself unhappy or just complacent. Sit back, take a look and evaluate your situation. The lack of love, passion and money can have effects on your mental and physical health that can be detrimental. A broken connection can be fixed sometimes. Before you try to fix it, try to understand the reason for the break. Maybe some things are better off disconnected.
